Desempate: Kariakin pierde; Carlsen, campeón

Carlsen entabla con negras la primera de las cuatro partidas del desempate de rápidas, no consigue ganar la segunda teniendo ventaja de material (Kariakin se salva con un ahogado), pero vence en la tercera con negras al decidir ir por el rey enemigo y finalmente, ante una siciliana de Kariakin, que tiene que jugar a ganar a toda costa, triunfa en la cuarta con un bonito sacrificio de dama

Carlsen-Kariakin


Comienza mañana el match por el título mundial entre el campeón Magnus Carlsen y el desafiante Serguéi Kariakin. Aprovechamos esta ocasión para insistir en que ésta es la ortografía correcta en español y la pronunciación correcta en cualquier otra. Por ejemplo, el propio jugador usa la ortografía inglesa, Sergey Karyakin, en su cuenta de Twitter. Desafortunadamente se ha extendido el uso de la transliteración alemana, Karjakin, lo que produce equívocos al pronunciarlo en castellano.
Es Kariakin y se dice [kariákin].

Hoy simultáneas

Todo aficionado que lo desee puede jugar esta noche con el niño Capablanca si quiere ir al Club, con su tablero; pues Raúl jugará, simultáneas, con todo el que se presente a las ocho de la noche.

La única recomendación que hace es la de que todos los jugadores tengan preparada la jugada y la ejecuten en el momento que el niño se presente delante de cada tablero.
